1950's HAJI Japan Tin Windup Color TV Television Toy Bank with Original Box

View my other auctions for other vintage tin and pressed steel cars, trucks and other vehicles being listed. Nice tin windup Color TV bank in original box that was made by HAJI of Japan. The TV is all tin and measures 9.5 tall to the top of the antenna.

This neat mechanical toy bank works by winding up the mechanism, deposit a coin in the side, and the picture tilts back and forth inside. The clockwork windup mechanism and action still works. There are no pictures left, just the tin back screen that says END but you can print out a small screenshot of your favorite 50's TV show to put inside!

The TV has a few marks and light scratching, and the thin plastic screen is split half-way up in the middle, and it is missing the two little plastic feet on the rear legs. This comes with it's original box that has the operating instructions on the side.
