With a careful wind up (turning the key clockwise on motorcycle's left side)... The old bike still performs really well. PLEASE TRY THE FOLLOWING VIDEO TO SEE A CLIP OF ALL THE FUNCTIONS. MOTORCYCLE AND RIDER LOOK GREAT ON DISPLAY.
NOW 70 YEARS OLD, SO HAS SOME EXPECTED NATURAL AGE/PLAY WEAR....... LITHO FINISH MARKS, SCUFFS, CHIPS, SCRATCHES (mostly through the normal working action as the rider gets off and on the bike). A little normal tarnishing of exposed metal areas.... (if you like a shiny look, a simple cleaning with wire wool will work).
A few rub marks/material on front wheel. Lens cover still in headlamp.....
Underside baseplate is in great shape, doesn't look pulled about and rear upper mudguard seam is still together. Production info still clearly visible underside.
