Tin wind-up billiard pool toy. Large size player in checkered coat. Billiard pool toy is 7 ½ long.

Player is 5 ½ tall. The actual toy is darker than the pictures. His suit has a darker matte look.

The table sides and legs are a deep glossy color with great patina and the table top is matte finish with a few flaws, primarily where the metal cue scrapped the paint. The player shoots the ball into one of the holes. The mechanism underneath tilts the tray to return the ball and mounts it so the player can shoot again. It has a strong mechanism. The legs of the pool table show no signs of breaks or cracks, a common thing to break on these toys.

This toy is unique from other tin wind-up pool toys because it features a player in a patterned coat. Includes two pool balls (small glass marbles). All the toys listed are from my personal collection assembled over the past 35+ years. They are in very fine condition. There were only about a dozen tin wind-up pool (billiard) toys made.

I own about thirty (counting duplicates) which I think is the largest collection of wind-up tin billiard toys. I collect toys in the finest condition and sometimes find one in a little better condition. A five page article with color pictures of the billiard toys was in the 12/18 issue of Billiards Digest. All toys are in excellent, working condition and include pool balls. Review pictures close-up for details of condition.
