Pair of Vintage Hornby Tin O Gauge Electric Lighted Metropolitan Coaches, 1 & 3

I will be listing a large quantity toys over the next few weeks. Please watch my other listings for more tin toys. Here are 2 Hornby 13.5 long high quality Metropolitan coach cars, a #1 and #3 passenger coach.

These cars appear to have had some restoration work, but still display great. These are wired inside for electric lights (not sure if these are working or not). The underside of the carriages appear to be repainted as they are a fresh black and the originals had the same color brown painting as the sides do. The roofs of the cars may also have been repainted. The lithographed sides are in good original condition with some overall wear as shown.
