I have only seen a few of these in my 30 years of dealing in Popeye toys. Very seldom do you find one in this condition. SCARCE, in NEAR MINT condition. This is a great 1950s Popeye windup toy.

Beautiful litho, bright colors and great shine. I think this toy has the best and most creative action of all the Popeye windup toys.

Look at the video and you will be surprised at how long Popeye can spin Olive Oyl. Many of these toys have contact marks and scratches from being played with or left outside. This example is the best! Besides the pipe bowl (wood), and Olives hair bun (rubber), the toy is all tin.

Check out the video of the toy in operation. This is not a new toy or copy; it is the original from the mid 1950s. If you collect character toys, then this is the toy for you. Dont let this one slip away.
