RARE c. 1910 GEBRUDER BING'RUNABOUT' TIN WIND-UP TOY IN WORKING CONDITION

Offered for sale is this very nice example of the hard to find "Runabout" tin wind-up car, made in Germany by Gebruder Bing c. The piece measures about 5 1/2 long and has stood up surprisingly well, given that it is over 100 years old: the colors and the detail are still quite strong and there is no damage to the tinplate other than some play wear (should be evident in the pics).

The mechanism seems strong and works as it should. Please check the photos as they do a better job than I can of describing the piece.
