Rare Original, Vintage 1955 Naito Shoten InterplanetaryExplorer Robot Mechanical Tin Windup Space Toy. Made in Japan by NaitoShoten(AN). It is rare and among only 5 spacemen that this companyproduced.

This toy is in played with condition. The right arm covering isgone and the space gun is gone. The air hose springs coming from the backpack are missing as well. It features all tin construction and is otherwise in good condition. Still has the 1 metal air hose spring connection on his chest, and the wind up mechanism still works, however it does not walk far withouttipping over on the right, probably because the right arm makes it unbalanced.

This was my husband's toy as a child. The bottom of the air pack has the AN toylogo and Japan printed on it.
