Vintage Lehmann Tin Litho Wind Up QUACK-QUACK Duck Toy Made in Germany

Vintage Unique Tin Litho Wind Up GERTIE THE GALLOPING GOOSE Toy - Working. The wheels rotate and the ducks on top. When you turn the key but it doesn't appear to hold the wind? In other words, you can't wind it up and put it down to watch it move. Everything just seems to move when you turn the key clockwise.

I'm not very familiar with this toy, so I can't say if this is suppose to work this way or not? Also, the back wheels are made of to pieces of tin clamped together.

One of the wheels has come apart but it can be easily fixed, you just need to push them together and reclamp them. I just don't have the tools need to do it. The art and graphics are still vibrant and in excellent condition considering the age but it has been used. So please expect some wear and tear.
