Vintage Proud Peacock tin wind up toy Alps with original box

Vintage ALPS mechanical Proud Peacock, made in occupied Japan. This is an old mechanical toy my Father had when he was young. Everything is in good shape but there seems to be something wrong with the back wing.

The wind up motor seems to work fine. It seems to me if you were to solder the back wing to the back motor piece it would work fine.
