VTG 1940s Popeye the Pilot in Airplane Marx Toy Co. Wind Up Tin Toy

For sale is this neat and highly collectible vintage 1940s Popeye the Pilot Marx tin wind-up toy. This piece would run back and forth on wheels, but it needs some repair work. Measures approximately 8.5" long by 5" tall by 6.5. The colors are bright, but we see some signs of age and wear. One of the wheels needs repaired by properly fastening to the wheel hub.

One of the wings is just slightly warped. This toy also came with a sprocket/gear taped to the bottom, which we believe may be one of the pieces needed to get the mechanism working. Frankly, we are not sure of what is needed to get it working. In any case, Popeye sure looks great on the shelf as shown in the first picture!
