1920's SCHUCO CHARLIE CHAPLIN TIN WIND UP
1920's Schuco German made tin wind up Charlie Chaplin with original schuco key. You wind him up and he takes off, spinning his cane and jiggling everywhere. He has a few imperfections but for a toy that is 100 years old, I think he looks great. This one is getting very hard to find (I know because I look for it all the time). He has some material missing from his nose and next to his left ear and his hat has a few tiny spots.

I believe he is covered in some kind of thin felt and other types of material, the only tin that shows are his feet. His clothes are a little dusty but I think that adds to the character that Charlie played THE TRAMP. I was going to clean him up but I think he looks perfect and I hope you do too! Anyway, I have had my fun with him and it is time to pass him on to a good home. I think the price is right in the area that he is worth and like I said, he is getting very hard to find but don't be afraid to make an offer.....
