1930's Lindstrom Skeeter Bumper Car with Riders Tin Clockwork Windup Toy
View my other auctions for other vintage tin toys, and pressed steel cars, trucks and other vehicles being listed. Super cool 9.5 long tin windup bumper car that was made by Lindstrom in the 1930's. This is in all original condition and has nice red paint with much of the shiny tin chrome-plate still shiny and not completely tarnished as usual. This comes with the original key and the clockwork windup mechanism still works (although a little slow and it needs a push here and there).
Wind it up and place it on a smooth floor and the car goes straight and in circles like the dodge-em bumper cars! Really neat toy with 2 lithographed tin riders and it still retains the black rubber bumper edge and the original key! Check out my other auctions for another one in blue up for sale separately.
