1930s Drum Major Tin Wind-up Mechanical Soldier Toy Wolverine Working Example

"MECHANICAL DRUM MAJOR" WIND-UP TOY - 1930s Wolverine Supply & Mfg. 4.25" x 13" x 5.5. This vintage mechanical soldier toy is still functional and creates a solid rat-a-tat sound. Movement is somewhat sporadic but constant when wound properly. Toy has a built-in key and on/off switch.

NOTE: This toy is 80+ years old, and the mechanical elements should be handled accordingly. The classic tin litho graphic is striking & extremely eye-catching. An outstanding wind-up toy design with outstanding eye appeal. Condition is considered GOOD to FAIR with moderate surface/paint/edge wear.

Spot litho scuffing with light oxidation on bare metal areas. Colors are still bold, bright and appealing. Overall, we feel this is a very displayable example by most standards (see photos).
