1940's Vintage MADE IN OCCUPIED JAPAN "Poor Pete" celluloid windup toy. Wind him up and a Poor Pete takes off Poor trying to get a bite of the watermelon to while the dog is chasing him. Pete dances around trying to shake the dog loose. 6 inches high, 5-1/2 inches long, and 3 inches wide.

MADE IN OCCUPIED JAPAN is on the underside of the dog. He works just wind him up set him down and you may have to nudge him a little and he takes off. The dog can detach or stay on for the ride.
