1940's VINTAGE WYANDOTTE SPORTSMAN COUPE WIND UP PRESSED STEEL TOY CAR LOOK
PRESSED STEEL - WIND UP. LATE'40's - EARLY 1950's. This lot contains late 1940's and early 1950's Wyandotte Sportsman Coupe. This pressed steel heavyweight wind-up car is approximately 12 and 1/2 inches long. The wind-up motor seems to work intermittently, and the front wheels will spin when the car is lifted up, but it is not strong enough to pull itself. The windscreen is missing, but the retractable hardtop slides back into the body and holds itself up when in position. Trunk opens smartly and holds itself up when opened. The car body has expected playwear consisting of small nicks, chips, small dents, paint loss rubs, and pin-pricks; but it also has an honest patina and shine. Tires have some typical cracks, and breaks, but they are complete.
Whether you're a fan of vintage toys or just looking for a unique piece to display, this Wyandotte Sportsman Coupe is sure to impress. Please review all of the pics to see this model in more detail. PLEASE CHECK OUT MY OTHER LISTINGS FOR MORE COLLECTOR QUALITY VINTAGE TOYS!!
