Offered for sale is a wonderful example of the hard to find yellow version of the pressed steel and tin Moon Mullins & Kayo railroad hand cart. It was manufactured sometime in the 1930's by the Marx Toy Company and is in excellent condtion: The original litho finishes are still bright without fading, the cart retains most all of its original finishes, and the windup mechanism works just as it should: wind it up and Moon and Kayo crank the lever up and down as the cart is propelled forward. This piece would have originally come with train track sections, but those have been lost somewhere in its journey through time. The toy measures about 6" long x 2 5/8" wide x 6 1/4" and has some playwear (light scratches, smudges, wear to moving parts), and a bit of the "Moon Mullins" and "Kayo lettering has rubbed off, but it nonetheless displays beautifully.
