CHEIN POPEYE FLOOR PUNCHER WIND-UP EXCELLENT WORKING CONDITION CIRCA 1936. Here we have a very good old and ORIGINAL J.

Chein Popeye Puncher from the 1930s. There is very little fading of the litho as most of these do have from sitting around for many years with sun exposure as you can see in the pictures. The green base has again very little edge wear or scratches which you can view in the enlarged pics. The Popeye figure has usual play wear but very little. The pipe stem and bowl is the fitted variety on left side of face.

Looks like POPEYE has some type of disease on the back of his head and neck. When wound Popeye's articulated arms frantically punch at the bag as the bag bumps all around. The Chein Shield Logo is on the back of Popeyes left leg.

Measures 7 1/2 H, 2 3/4 W, 4 3/4 long. Popeyes intension here is to simulate the bag punching action for which he is so famous. The winding shaft is located just behind the right elbow of Popeye.

A key will be provided for winding this amazing toy. Check out the pictures and please ask questions if needed. Windup mechanism works as it should.
