Marx Merry Makers Band Tin Windup With Box. Delightful fun animated tin windup produced by Marx in the early 1930's. The 4 member mouse band all move to the music although the stand up dancer is sluggish on his feet. Some paint wear on this old toy showing minor oxidation evident above the piano keyboard and on the sheet music as well as on the hands of the drummer. I'd like to claim the box as original, but I'm not sure. It does show wear consistent with age with the cover having been reattached.
