This listing is for a vintage 1950's SKIPPY THE TRICKY CYCLIST mechanical wind-up circus toy w/box as shown. This is a fun toy to watch in action. Wind him up and his legs move up and down propelling him forward until he suddenly stops and starts spinning around, he then resumes his journey in a different direction. Condition is very good - excellent.

Clean toy with the exception of the spotting on his red jacket. Normal wear consistent with a toy of this age. The familiar TPS three finger logo can be seen on his left shoe.

A nice addition to any wind-up toy collection. Wind up mechanism is working properly. The box is original and in near mint condition. It is on page 457. It is a "MADE IN JAPAN", 1950's era toy produced by the T.
