Were hand crafted and hand painted in warm folk-art colors with a primitive, slightly rustic aesthetic. The top lifts off to store Noah and the animals..... Two by two they were led into the ark.

It would be quite lovely in a nursery decorated in the Noah's Ark theme and then later as a special toy. For the collector it is a noteworthy display anytime! The design of the ark allows for the top roof portion to lift off which leaves an open box where all the hand carved animals can be kept.

The whale weathervane is easily removed as are the curved decorative pieces on the ends which fit into the ark by dowels. Some small pieces could be a choking hazard - recommended for older children that wouldn't put them in their mouth. The overall largest size, or space you would need to display the ark is approximately 24" wide x 8" deep x 22 tall. This includes the boat base pieces assembled with the end pieces on and the whale weathervane installed. Attery operated tealights (not included) would create a warm glow from the paned windows when placed inside for a nice extra touch.

It did not have much play use over the years and remains in its excellent original condition. Ccasional small scratch or tiny nick in the paint is all that I can find. Lease see all the photos in zoom for your best study to complete the description. Carriers will include a surcharge for a large package that has a measurement over 18 long or wide.

I put UPS Ground as a 1st choice as they have been the most economical for oversize packages from my zip code zone to most across the country, but it can vary.
