Near Mint in Original Box. Wind-up tin toy Made in Japan by TPS. Toy in excellent working condition and apparently never played with. The pool table top is a separate piece.
It slides onto rails but I didnt slide it on all the way to prevent any scratching. I looked hard for flaws and scratches. Theres a small one to the right of the TPS logo and minor scratches on the base. The red rubber tip of the cue has about ¼ chipped off. This tip is usually completely missing. The table top has a small crease that appears to be part of the manufacturing process because the paint is not scratched.
The black cloth pocket that is often missing is flat as originally packaged. The toy even has the original cardboard that covered the key. Ive only since one other with this included. Box in crisp condition and colors are vibrant. The top and bottom are in excellent condition.
There is one small tear. All three original pool balls (2 reds and a white) in the original plastic bag and re-taped to the original cardboard sleeve. Rosko Tested toy 0210 Made in Japan. TPS made this toy but Rosko distributed it so their name is on the box. The monkey takes a practice stroke, tilts his head and then shoots.
The box shows the monkey with a full head of hair but the toy figure never had hair. All the toys listed are from my personal collection assembled over the past 35+ years. They are in very fine condition. There were only about a dozen tin wind-up pool (billiard) toys made.I own about thirty (counting duplicates) which I think is the largest collection of wind-up tin billiard toys. I collect toys in the finest condition and sometimes find one in a little better condition. A five page article with color pictures of the billiard toys was in the 12/18 issue of Billiards Digest.
All toys are in excellent, working condition and include pool balls. Review pictures close-up for details of condition. I've included up to 12 pictures to best show the item. Pictures are high resolution so they show more detail than you could see with the item in your hand.
