Rare 1920's Louis Marx Charleston Trio Wind-up Tin Toy With ORIGINAL BOX. Scarce 1920's Louis Marx Charleston Trio Wind-up Tin Toy that depicts the SOMSTEPA Jigger. Rarely seen with this figure as most the others have the more common dancer. This and the box are 100% original, with no repairs, no touch ups, 10"x5"x3-1/2 Features an African American SOMSTEPA figure in the middle, dancing on roof, flanked by a dog with a cane in its mouth which moves up and down, and a second African American who plays a fiddle. Very Nice lithography, and nice scenes of the three characters dancing on base.
Box is missing some parts but will display well on the one side (as shown). Please see my feedback to see what people say about my packaging. Please follow our store if you love rare antiques, primitives and collectibles of many types.
