Gunthermann Nifty Toys Tin Lithographed Windup No. 572-A Playing Cat in Box. This is a rare one! It is not only a Nifty Toys toy but a double-marked S. For toy historians, it affirms the link between Georg Borgfeldt and his Nifty brand and S.

He was a toy importer and did his own branding. This cat was branded under Nifty but made in Germany. Soon after this toy, the Nifty brand white labeled their toys or didn't allow suppliers' information to be printed.

This is a wonderful opportunity to solidify toy history. On top of this, the toy is a highly sought-after S. It works well and is in excellent original.
