SCARCE Vintage Kingsbury Golden Arrow Land Speed Record Tin Wind-Up Toy Car. This hard-to-find tin wind-up car is modeled after the record-setting Golden Arrow driven by Major Henry Seagrave when he set the land speed record of 231.567 mph at Daytona Beach on March 11, 1929. Measures 19-3/4 long, has four original Dunlop cord racing tires. Wind-up mechanism still works could use a little oil and cleaning. Original paint is probably about 80%.
Driver is still in the car, but windshield is missing. Car is as-found and has not been cleaned. We do not accept personal or business checks under any circumstances.
