For your consideration: JAZZBO-JIM, "Dancer on the Roof" tin-litho wind-up toy by Unique Art Mfg. This toy is over 100 years. This version of the toy includes a Violin Player which moves his arm to play while Jim dances on the roof.
I have provided 3 addresses to YouTube which will allow you to see the toy in action. If you have any trouble viewing the videos, please contact me through the message service. Condition: Jazzbo-Jim shows some areas of missing paint on his torso and head. There is a small fracture line that can be seen on the back of Jim's head.
Under a 10x magnifying glass, you can see some of the paint has cracked & crazed. Again the toy is over a hundred years old. There is also some light surface rust on the inside of his arms.
The tin figure stands approximately 7 inches tall and 1.5 inches wide. The Violin Player is firmly attached to the roof. When the toy is wound up, the Violinist will move his right arm up and down. Mimicking the action of playing a violin. The House-shaped box is in good condition. The graphics are bright with minimal scratching or missing paint. There are no dents in the roof, base, or sides. The on/off lever works as intended. The wind-up key works well. I have found that by winding up the toy to a tight point, then place Jazzbo-Jim in the post support hole, you will get the best results to see Jazzbo-Jim in action after you turn "lever bar" in the ON position. I have also found that by taking Jim out of his support hole and then turn the box upside down, the toy will unwind completely.
The only notable problem was the Dancer would not always spin in a circle. This item is in the category "Toys & Hobbies\Vintage & Antique Toys\Wind-up Toys". The seller is "havegunwilltravel1" and is located in this country: US. This item can be shipped to United States.
