Vintage 1903 Lehmann Paddy and His Pig Wind-Up Mechanical German Toy

Vintage 1903 Lehmann "Paddy and His Pig" Wind-Up Mechanical German Toy. Seated upon a fancily costumed performing pig with hinged ears is a man with Tyrolean style costume, tall silver hat with feather, black painted boots and cloth jacket and pants.

When the coil-spring is wound the pig erratically moves about as though dancing and the man bounces up and down and side to side, rodeo-style. Works well, though he does tend to stall sometimes and needs a push to get him going again (could be it needs some lubrication). Measures 5 1/2' and 5 3/4' long.

Has some expected signs of age wear such as scuffs. Made by Mark Lehmann in Germany, patent May 12, 1907. Please look over pictures carefully.
