VINTAGE 1950's MARX WIND UP WALT DISNEY'S DONALD DUCK THE SKIER w/ ORIGINAL BOX... THIS RARE MARX WIND UP TOY IS APPROX. 11 INCHES HIGH, IS COMPLETE AND IS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION... THE ONLY OTHER TOY OUT THERE IS MISSING THE PADS ON THE BOTTOM OF BOTH SKI POLES... DONALD HAS TYPICAL WEAR FOR A TOY THIS OLD.. PAINT IS FADING AND SOME OF THE PLASTIC PIECES HAVE SCRATCHES.. THE BOTTOM OF HIS RIGHT SKI IS NOT RUST, BUT SOMETHING THAT CAN BE REMOVED (like old dirt, but very carefully).. UNFORTUNATELY, THE WIND UP KEY BROKE OFF SO I CAN'T TEST IT.... THE ORIGINAL BOX IS COMPLETE AND HAS SOME HOLES AND OTHER SHELF WEAR... Most of my auctions are of older collectibles, one of a kind items and antiques. A lot of times I just don't know anything about it. I enjoy researching them and trying to find out more about them. Sometimes it's hard to know if any parts are missing or even if it works at all. I try very hard to look everything over carefully and to thoroughly describe each item to the best of my knowledge, but occasionally I may accidentally miss something.
