A vintage tin-type Charlie McCarthy Benzine Buggy wind-up car toy produced by Marx in 1938. Toy measures roughly 7 1/4" x 2 3/4" x 6 1/2 for size reference. The toy itself is an original, however, the box is a reproduction meant for display purposes. The wind-up feature has been tested and is in working condition, but could use a tune-up so that it may run optimally. Overall, this toy is in beautiful shape but does exhibit signs of display wear, particularly portions of oxidation, surface scratching, and paint chipping. See pictures for further condition details.
