This time the box makes the toy. Everything on this sleigh is all original down to the reins that Santa is holding. This is the Ferdinand Strauss Santee Claus Sleigh with two prancing reindeer.

Two bells are attached to each of the reindeers mouths and jingle as they move back and forth. Lithography is very bright and shiny as many have had sun damage and look dull and drably.

Even Santa is original as some are usually missing and have been replaced with a reproduction. And most you will see the sleigh usually has rust on the bottom edge. This one is quite clean. This toy is certified to be in 100% working condition.

You dont see many of these for sale and with Christmas just a short time away it would make a great conversation piece as it would be just as a display. As with most antique toys, if you have the original box, the price goes up.
