Vintage Girard Tin Windup Handcar Excellent Condition

Vintage Girard Tin Windup Handcar - Excellent Condition!! You can wind it up. And it works with some help. I think it should work, but I can't figure out how to release the mechanism. Looks like both heads were bent at the necks, and restraightened, there is some paint loss at the folds, and some bending.
