Wind Up Tin Litho Ferris Wheel #172 Hercules Toy with BOX. Spring mechanism NOT working as you can see from the photos. I took closeup pictures best I could of the mechanism, see two closeup pictures of the gears.
I took closeup photos, hopefully you can tell condition from the pictures. The graphics are nice and clear. There appears to be little rust but there is some. I will leave that up to you to decide for yourself. The Ferris wheel moves easily by hand and the seat buckets swing back and forth easily. The box is missing one of the short flaps on top. The box is very dusty but I did try to remove some of the dust inside and out with a slightly damp cloth. The ferris wheel was less dusty and I used soapy water and a terry cloth to clean off the dust. This is an estate find and was found in the attic. The opposite side of the box has holes from someone gouging a pen into it and some writing in pencil and some blue marks on it. Please see last photo for the condition of that side of the box.
