Vintage Marx VFD Fire Engine Water Tower Truck Wind Up Toy
This is a really great old toy which is missing a few easily replaceable parts but is a pretty good looking example and worth finding those pieces. Take a close look please to see what is here. The wind up mechanism has been altered by a loving father or grandfather to include a screw so that you can wind it with a screwdriver and never lose the key. The wind up mechanism does still work. It is not super strong but I oiled it and its getting stronger.
Definitely not DOA, I dont know if its supposed to make noises or sounds, there is some sort of mechanism that spins underneath but I dont hear anything at the moment. Original paint is in very nice condition with original graphics. Displays pretty well as is but just needs a couple of ladders, driver, the wooden fire extinguishers and Im not sure what else?
