Vintage Tin 1938 Marx Lone Ranger, Hi Yo Silver Wind Up Toy With Original Box. This vintage toy was made in the United States by Marx Toys. The toy is made of metal and has a wind up mechanism which operates a twirling lasso.

As the lasso twirls the horse dances around. The figure measures approximately 6 5/8 inches in height at the tip of Silver's nose and 5 inches in width and 1 1/2 inches deep not including the key. There is some paint loss on the front face of the cowboy hat down with the use and age but does not detract too much from the overall appearance of this wonderful toy.

As can be shown in the photos there is a lot of colorful detail. Wonderful collectible for the Lone Ranger and western cowboy fans. The box shows some wear toward the top edges as shown in the photos and is nice and someone tried to preserve it as it is wrapped in plastic. Which has kept it very nice. 6.75 tall lithographed tin toy of The Lone Ranger seated on back of rearing Silver.

Lone Ranger holds wire lasso in hand over his head that spins when mechanism is activated. Lower arm is jointed by tiny tab into the shoulder to swing freely during operation. Front side has simulated streamer with text The Lone Ranger Hi-Yo Silver! Back side has logo of Marx Toys and 1938 The Lone Ranger, Inc. Key wind action causes Silver to prance in circular fashion while Lone Ranger vigorously swings wire lasso. This toy was produced with Silver in either silver luster metal or white paint variety, this is white luster metal version. Noticeable luster loss o/w typical scattered paint nicks and scratches. Comes with original 3x5x8 box.
